Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri Introduces Two First-of-Their-Kind Offerings for the 2027 Cookie Season

Patch Pals™, the first Girl Scout Cookie created for dogs, and Girl Scout Sparkables™, the first allergy-friendly Girl Scout Cookie, will help local Girl Scouts reach new customers and expand their businesses.

ST. LOUIS (Sept. 8, 2026) – Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) announced today two exciting additions to the 2027 Girl Scout Cookie® lineup. Patch Pals™, developed with BARK, and Girl Scout Sparkables™, developed with Partake®, will give local Girl Scouts new ways to connect with customers, reach new audiences, and grow their Cookie businesses.

Available exclusively online for direct shipping beginning Jan. 9 2027, Patch Pals and Girl Scout Sparkables will join beloved classics such as Thin Mints®, Samoas® and Tagalongs® during the 2027 Girl Scout Cookie season.

“We are excited to offer our Girl Scouts two innovative products that will help them connect with even more members of our community,” said Dr. Natissia Small, CEO of Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri. “Whether customers are shopping for a family member with certain food allergies or including a beloved pet in the fun, these new offerings create more opportunities for girls to build confidence, strengthen their entrepreneurial skills, and work toward their goals.”

Patch Pals offer four-legged family members a playful way to take part in Cookie season. Developed with BARK, a company dedicated to making dogs happy, the soft-baked, blueberry muffin-flavored dog cookies celebrate the special bond between people and their pets. Each cookie features one of four patch designs inspired by iconic Girl Scout experiences.

Girl Scout Sparkables™ bring greater inclusivity to the Girl Scout Cookie portfolio as the organization’s first cookie developed for families navigating certain food allergies. Created with Partake in a facility designed to avoid the nine major food allergens, the crunchy oatmeal cookie features chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles.

For Girl Scouts throughout eastern Missouri, Cookie season is about much more than what is inside the package. Through the Girl Scout Cookie Program®, girls learn five essential skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics. They put those skills into action as they build their businesses, connect with customers and decide how to use their earnings. Proceeds from every purchase remain local, supporting Girl Scout troops and helping provide meaningful experiences for girls across eastern Missouri. Troop proceeds may help Girl Scouts fund outdoor adventures, travel, community service projects, STEM exploration and other activities they choose together.

The Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri 2027 Cookie Season begins Jan. 9, 2027. Additional information about the new offerings and the upcoming Cookie season is available at girlscoutsem.org/cookies.
