Fly with the Hive festival returns

The 2nd Annual Fly with the Hive Festival takes flight Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in historic downtown Ste. Genevieve!

This fun-filled community event will stretch along Merchant Street and Second Street, with activities, vendors, music, demonstrations and family fun throughout the festival area.

Merchant Street & Second Street
Festival activities will be set up along Merchant Street and Second Street, from Merchant Street to Market Street.

Putt-Putt Golf
Test your skills with putt-putt golf in the parking lot off Second Street. Just look for the banner!

Craft Vendors & Food

  • Craft vendors will be located in the parking lot across from QRST Tea Shop.
  • Additional vendors will be set up in the Belle Ever After parking lot.
  • Food vendors and local markets will offer plenty of options to enjoy while you explore the festival.

🎢 Live Music

Enjoy live music throughout the day:

  • Allie Wolk will perform earlier in the day.
  • Diana Crabtree will take the stage later in the afternoon.

🐝 Bees, Honey & Hands-On Fun

Learn all about the amazing world of honeybees! Local beekeepers will be on hand to demonstrate their craft, answer questions and offer their delicious local honey for sale.

John Huber will demonstrate the art of forging, giving visitors a look at this traditional craft.

There’s plenty for kids to discover!

  • Pony rides will be available in the yard at Brix Urban Winery.
  • The Ste. Genevieve Museum Learning Center will be on hand with activities and exhibits.
  • Felix VallΓ© House State Historic Site will offer crafts for kids inside the historic home.
  • BrickToria’s Brickhouse, the new LEGO store, will have a limited supply of free honeybee-themed LEGO kits for kids to build and take home. Supplies are limited, so be sure to get yours early!

With something happening around every corner, Fly with the Hive promises a full day of family fun, local talent, shopping, food and plenty of buzz in historic downtown Ste. Genevieve!
