PERRYVILLE – On Wednesday June 4th at 6:01 p.m., Perryville Fire Department responded to the report of a commercial structure fire at 1205 S. Kingshighway.
Assistant Fire Chief Jeremy Mantz said “firefighters found an approximate 60′ by 120′ structure with heavy smoke and flames. Fire crews were able to quickly contain the fire to a third of the building.
“The Missouri State Fire Marshal was contacted to investigate and the fire was determined to be accidental in nature. Units returned to service at 9:35 pm.”
Chester Fire Department also responded for mutual aid.
Huber Road was closed for the duration of the file.
