Farmington man hurt in Highway 32 crash

JEFFERSON CITY — An 84-year-old Farmington man received minor injuries in a traffic crash on Highway 32 in Ste. Genevieve County Friday afternoon.

 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the man was taken to Parkland Hospital in Farmington by ambulance.

 

The patrol says the crash happened when an eastbound 2011 Toyota Tundra the man was driving was struck in the rear by a 1999 Dodge 2500 driven by a 28-year-old Farmington man.

 

The patrol says the driver of the Dodge failed to notice the Toyota was slowing down.

 

Neither driver was buckled up.

 

The Toyota was a total loss and was towed by Buckley’s Towing.

 

The Dodge had moderate damage and was towed by its owner.

 

The crash happened about 5:24 p.m. west of Chestnut Ridge Road.
