ECC students celebrate halloween with trick or treat activity

STE. GENEVIEVE – Member of the Ste. Genevieve County School District R-II Board of Education members, district leaders, school resource officers and the school social worker joined the Early Childhood Center for a special Halloween celebration!

On Friday, October 31, from 9:30–10:15 a.m. CDT, approximately 75 preschool and Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) students dressed in costume and “trick-or-treated” through the building, making several stops along the way. Guests, as well as Early Childhood Center staff, handed out treats, glow bracelets, stickers, temporary tattoos and play dough.

Students practiced saying “trick or treat” and learned how to take part in this fun tradition while visiting familiar faces!

The little Dragons had a wonderful time celebrating and sharing smiles—and all are grateful to everyone who helped make this a memorable experience.
