A funeral will be held for 80-year-old Doris M. Dauster of Perryville, Missouri, being a child of God, who passed away Friday, September 26, 2025 at Independence Care Center in Perryville.
She was born May 6, 1945 in Sereno, Mo. to Martin and Virgie (Gibbar) Reiss who both preceded her in death.
Doris and Kenneth Dauster were married June 19, 1965 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno, MO. He preceded her in death on April 27, 2022.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly (Keith) Satterfield, Robin (Bill) Brickhaus; two sons, Duane Dauster, Jason (Lola) Dauster; twin sister, Dorothy Smith; two sisters, Shirley Tarrillion, June (Kim) Moore; two brother-in-laws, John (Cheryl) Graff, Ronnie (Mara) Graff; two sister-in-laws, Vanessa Ebner, Betty Reiss; fifteen grandchildren, Drew (Cheyenne), Chase (Hailey), Landen (Megan), Logan (Heather), Dylan, Megan, Kaleb (Veronica), Austin (Megan), Nathan, Lola Nicole, Kaitlyn, Bradley (Courtney), Jordan (Cheyenne), Ashlyn (Dalton), Lydia; sixteen great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace, Astraea, Wrenlee Jo, Laci, Hunter, Lane, Jacob, Conner, Nia, Olivia, Zane, Killian, Nolen, Beckett, Cora, Alaina and two others on the way.
She was also preceded in death by six siblings: Martin (Hilda) Reiss Jr., Harold Reiss, Dale Reiss, Donald Reiss, Theresa (Mike) Sutterer; and Norman (Joann) Reiss; and two brother-in-laws, Glen Smith, and Mike Ebner.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. Doris enjoyed painting ceramics, playing bingo. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was a member of Cape County Cowboy Church.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville and 8-10 a.m. Thursday, October 2, 2025 at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
