Private services will be at Valle Spring Cemetery on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 11:00 am.
Burial will be at Valle Spring Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve, MO
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Vincent de Paul or Ranken Jordan Pediatric Hospital
He was a member of IAM Automotive Local 777.
Donald graduated from Valle High School in 1962 and enlisted in the United States Air Force. After the Air Force, he settled in St. Louis and worked over 50 years for Forklift of St. Louis. Don was a wonderful artist, gardener, and loved flowers. His true passion was treasure hunting. Donald was an avid collector of antique liquor decanters, clocks, and radios. He had good friends that he enjoyed sharing his passion with. Donald loved his daughter and grandchildren very much and was very proud of them. At the end of his life, he had a renewed faith in the Catholic Church. Don was a simple man with a simple life and a kind heart. He never left St. Vincent de Paul without a couple used umbrellas; that way he could offer shelter to people out in the rain. May his memories be eternal.
