A funeral will be held Thursday, February, 19, 2026 for 68-year-old Don “Donnie” J. Brown of Sedgewickville, Missouri, formerly of Biehle, Missouri, who passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026 at his residence, surrounded by his family that loved him.
He was born July 20, 1957 in Perryville, MO to Raymond and Jeanette (Gibbar) Brown, who both preceded him in death.
Donnie and Ruth Clements were married April 1, 1978 at St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle. They were blessed with almost 48 years of marriage. She survives in Sedgewickville.
He is also survived by two sons: Joseph Brown and Patrick (Samantha) Brown; two daughters: Sister Mary George (Jean) Brown F.S.G.M. (Sisters of St. Francis of the Martyr St. George) and Stacy (Corey) Baker; three brothers: Ray (Joyce) Brown, Larry (Dianne) Brown, and Wayne (Susie) Brown; a sister: Sandra (David) Ponder; eight grandchildren: Joseph’s children: Gabrielle Brown, and Peyton Brown; Patrick’s children: William Brown, Nolan Brown, Avery Brown, and Landon Brown; and Stacy’s children: Linley Baker and Remington Baker.
He was a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle.
Donnie was the owner and operator of B&W Guttering and served many people in Ste. Genevieve, Perry County and the Illinois area for 45 years. He prided himself in the quality craftsmanship he provided.
He enjoyed farming and working with cattle for over 30 years.
He was an avid hunter and loved being outdoors as well as playing cards and spending time with his family.
He especially enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play sports.
He was an avid fan of the St. Vincent High School Football Team.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2026 and 8-9:20 a.m. Thursday, February 19. 2026 at the Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville. The Rosary will be prayed at 8:20 a.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral mass for 68-year-old Don “Donnie” J. Brown will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 19, 2026 at St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle with the Rev. Michael Benz officiating.
Burial will be at St. Maurus Catholic Cemetery in Biehle.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Maurus Catholic Church.
