JEFFERSON CITY, MO – The Missouri Department of Natural Resources has completed moving its St. Louis Regional Office from its previous location at 7545 South Lindbergh in St. Louis to its new location at 1390 Timberlake Manor Parkway, Suite 200, in Chesterfield.
On Oct. 16, DNR hosted an open house for its new home with invitees, including state and local officials, members of the regulated community and others who toured the new facility. The regional office serves the counties of Franklin, Gasconade, Jefferson, Lincoln, Montgomery, St. Charles, St. Louis and Warren, and the city of St. Louis.
The regional office is now more centrally positioned in the St. Louis Region, which increases the department’s responsiveness and productivity in the area. The new location’s upgraded facilities allow the regional office team to better serve the region’s citizens. It includes a larger laboratory that provides improved environmental sampling and field-testing capabilities. The new lab has added space for hands-on training for certified public drinking water and wastewater operators.
“Our regional office team is really excited about our new facility,” said Dorothy Franklin, director of the St. Louis Regional Office. “We’ve only been settled in for a few months, but it’s already clear that our more central location and expanded capabilities are making us more efficient and effective in providing environmental services to the region’s communities.”
The St. Louis Regional Office will continue providing the same services from the Timberlake building as from the Lindberg location. Walk-ins are still welcome, and the new building features a larger, more comfortable lobby to meet with customers, as well as better conference rooms for meetings.
