A funeral will be held Thursday, February 19, 2026 for 65-year-old David Keith Yates of Millersville, Missouri who passed away Monday, February 16, 2026 at his residence.
He was born July 17, 1960 in Sikeston, MO to Huelett V. and Pamie “LaVern” (Vinson) Yates, who both preceded him in death.
David and Margaret Melodie Yates were married on May 28, 1983 in Cape Girardeau, MO. She survives him in Millersville.
Survivors also include a son: Hunter (Jennifer) Yates of Sedalia; a daughter, Katlin (Bob) Warbritton of Centralia; and a grandchild, Elaine Yates.
He was also preceded in death by a sister: Karen Cooper and his father and mother-in-law.
He was an industrial sales engineer and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
David enjoyed reading and loved to travel in his RV with his family and meeting new people. He never met a stranger and enjoyed telling stories.
Visitation will be 8-11 a.m. Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.

Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville.
