A funeral will be held Monday, September 15, 2025 for 52-year-old Crystal Kay Duensing of Chester, Illinois, who passed away at 8:05 a.m., Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Three Springs Senior Living and Rehabilitation, Chester, Illinois.
Crystal was born August 9, 1973 in Chester to Gary Knott and Donna (nee McCormick) Prater. Her father preceded her in death, her mother survives in Chester.
She married Michael Duensing who survives in Chester.
She is also survived by two sons: Donald Weaver Ste. Genevieve, Mo. and Austin Runge of Carbondale, Ill.; one grandson: Jackson Weaver; three siblings: Michael (Sheri) Knott of Chester, Josh Knott of Perryville, Mo. and Joey (Amanda) Prater of Chester and any aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Crystal had worked on the assembly line building car parts for TG Missouri for more than 34 years.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester. Crystal was an amazing grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2025 at the Pechacek Funeral Homes, in Chester.

Interment will be in the Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville, Illinois.
