Cornerstone of the community for 150 Years, Saint Francis Healthcare System donates 160 food and hygiene boxes through Annual Saint Elizabeth Food Drive

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Saint Francis Healthcare System is pleased to announce the successful completion of the 2025 Saint Elizabeth Food Drive, resulting in the donation of 160 boxes filled with food and personal hygiene items for Saint Francis colleagues, families and community members in need. Boxes were delivered to families throughout the region, as well as to community partner organizations including Community Counseling Center and Catholic Charities.

These donations help ensure that families facing hardship receive support, nourishment and encouragement during Thanksgiving and the holidays.

“The Saint Elizabeth Food Drive is a powerful reminder of how blessed we are and the difference we can make when we give together,” said Emily Vines, Manager – Colleague Communication and Engagement. “Each year, our colleagues demonstrate extraordinary generosity in supporting families across our region.”
