Bob Lockhart will share stories from both the Union and Confederate sides, highlighting the innovations, challenges, and battles that shaped naval warfare during the conflict.

A look at the Civil War Navy from both Union and Confederate perspectives—ships, sailors, and the struggle for control of America’s waterways. Lockhart said both north and south naval operations had little to work with.

This presentation on the Civil War Navy is being sponsored by Sainte Genevieve Vision. The presentation is free to museum members, otherwise admission will apply.
