Special Teams Player of the Week: # 17 Danny Worley
Danny Worley (# 17) a 6″1, 185 Lb. Junior Running Back & Linebacker, is the Week 2 “Special Teams Player of the Week” for the Chester High School Football YellowJackets. This award is bestowed upon the player each week that demonstrates the best performance on the Special Teams Unit. Against the Paris Tigers on Saturday August 22 Worley ran six times for a total of 32 yards. He also caught one pass for 13 yards. He further returned a kickoff for 26 yards and recorded three First Downs for his team. Worley is a junior at CHS and works hard each day. Anthony Armenta (# 15) a 5″8, 155 Lb., Senior Wide Receiver and Defensive Back is the Week 2 “Practice Player of the Week” for the Chester High School Football YellowJackets. This award is presented to the YellowJacket player who works the hardest throughout the week in practice and strives to help make his teammates better. This player may not always appear on the weekly game stats but works the hardest and gives 100% at practice to help his teammates function their best.
