Recreation Report-Rec ball is coming to an end. End of the year tournaments are scheduled. Previous tournaments from this year, no charge for teams, but charged $5/car to park. $792 is left over after paying umpires and buying medals.

Committee Reports
Christmas on the River-have started booking vendors for the activities.
Summer Splash-Hours will be 11-3 at Cole Park. Inflatables are confirmed. Breezy’s Sno Cone will be there and sell for $3. Wendall Quintana donated monies for the first 50 kids admission. Robin Bert donated monies for the first 50 sno cones. 7 th Inning Snacks to sell hotdogs, chips, walking tacos, and drinks out of the concession stand.
Color Fun Run-race is tabled until next year so board can work on more details.
Cole Playground improvement-John has spoke with 3 different companies getting information regarding a nautical theme that was previously agreed upon. Still waiting for information from Playcor. Looking at a possible budget of $250,000 with installation being outsourced.
Driving Range-None
Old business-Nick has been in talks with Bill Lang. Brian Dudenbostel is the current President of Breezy Hill. Approx figures for the city’s expenses for Breezy Hill this past year that includes toilet, water, electric, mowing, insurance, and trash are $7500-8000. Park board to meet at Breezy Hill to look at grounds for possible driving range on July 8th at 4:30pm
New Business-Would like to host a fundraiser this winter for rec ball
Unfinished Business-Sound system. Jay and Nick to be getting a list of what equipment JD uses. Budget proposal is to be presented Monday June 16, with sound system included in this proposal.
Any other business-Motion made for director to put together a proposal to present to counsel for dog restrictions for 2026 Rec ball season. 1st -Greg, 2nd -David
