CHESTER – The Chester CUSD 139 has officially launched its Summer Food Program – SUN MEALS TO GO, designed to provide nutritious meals to children in the community throughout the summer months.
A school official stated, “I am reaching out to ask for your help. We are currently seeking volunteer groups to assist with deliveries on select dates. Volunteers are needed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and your support would help us serve families efficiently and effectively.”

- Tuesday, July 1 (delivers 7 days of meals)
- No Delivery – Friday, July 4

“Whether it’s a business, civic organization, or community group, your involvement would mean a great deal to us—and more importantly, to the families we serve,” the official stated.
