PERRYVILLE – Citizens Electric Corporation has announced on social media a scheduled power outage is planned for Saturday, June 28 in the northernmost portion of Ste. Genevieve County.
We urge those with electrically powered medical devices to please take any necessary steps to prepare for this temporary interruption.
The announcement did not say how long the outage might last.
A courtesy message was sent out last week encouraging necessary steps to prepare for a temporary interruption. However, some received a message in error and will not be impacted by the outage. We apologize for the confusion.
Citizens Electric will monitor the weather for storms and heat index throughout the week.
Impacted members will receive confirmation via phone 72, 48, and again 24 hours before the June 28 outage occurs.
