JEFFERSON CITY — A 15-year-old Bloomsdale boy suffered serious injuries in a traffic crash at noon Sunday in Ste. Genevieve County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the teen was taken to Children’s Hospital by air evacuation.
The patrol says the youth was driving a 2025 Polaris Ranger Crew XP and failed to stop at the intersection of Kinsey Road and Misplay Rad and traveled into the path of a 2011 Ford Expedition. The Polaris struck the front of the Expedition, then slid off the roadway and struck a fence post and tree.
The driver of the Expedition, a 23-year-old Bloomsdale woman, was not hurt.
The patrol says both drivers were buckled up.
The Polaris was a total loss and the Expedition had extensive damage. Both were towed by Boyd’s Towing.
