PERRYVILLE – Beta Lambda chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa met on October 14, 2025 at the Catalyst Center with the theme Move Forward in Greatness. 

 

The hostesses were Dana Hogard, Robyn Lukefahr, Julie Robles and Lisa Vinton Rush.

 

Michael-Ann Kellerman, Tammie Lukefahr, and Janet Schuessler provided hospitality.  

 

Thirty-one women answered Mary Kutz’s roll call question—What is your favorite Halloween candy. 

 

Birthday celebrants in October include Janet Schuessler, Olivia Carter, Debra Cobb, Brenda Glaus, Brenda Smith, Cheryl Ray Layton and Candy Mueller. 

 

Kathy Scholl won the raffle prize.

 

The evening activities included the awarding of our classroom grant to Sarah Hendricks for digital portfolios for science students. 

Sarah Hendricks is awarded a $500 classroom grant by Beta Lamda Scholarship chair Michelle House.

There were five guests who found out about our organization through our Founder’s Day program, explanations of quilt displays and conversations with members. 

Joyce Moll and Kathe Ramsey explained Beta Lambda quilt making.

Members Olivia Carter and Halley Russell concoct a spooky mummy from a mason jar, google eyes and tea lights!

October is  Altruism month and we served breakfast to Veterans on the 21st and helped with Senior Center Bingo on the 28th.
