Christ Our Savior Lutheran High school holds graduation

EVANSVILLE — Christ Our Savior Lutheran High school held its graduation service to recognize six young adults for their accomplishments.

 

 

Those graduating were Laura Bowlin, Ellie Dawkins, Alyssa Heimann, Blaine Rahn, Josh Sims and Aaron Wallace.

 

Pastor Hojnacki and Pastor Sims performed the service.

 

Principal Mrs. Prange and Board Chair, Robert Rahlfs presented the diplomas to the students.

Valedictorian Ellie Dawkins and Salutatorian Alyssa Heimann addressed their fellow graduates with their speeches.

 

Three individuals were recognized at Christ Our Saviors awards night for having a 4.0 GPA this school year.

 

 

They are sophmore Brianna Brake, Senior Alyssa Heimann and junior Christine Liefer.

 

Christ Our Savior Lutheran High School Principal Mrs. Prange gave two special awards during the school’s recent graduation ceremony.

 

 

The Pro Deo et Schola, Latin “for God and school” was awarded to Alyssa Heimann.

 

Alyssa has demonstrated Christian values at school, in your community, her church and within her family. She will be attending Concordia Nebraska in the fall in hopes of becoming a deaconess.

 

 

 

The Servant of Christ award, which is given to a parent or staff member who has gone above and beyond to help the school in many ways, was presented to Tim Luebkemann.

 

Three students were awarded scholarships for continuing their education at Christ Our Savior Lutheran High school.

 

Isaac Luebkemann received the Academic scholarship, Christine Liefer received the Leadership scholarship and Reyna Fearing received the service scholarship.
