Ste. Genevieve County Public Library announces Community Engagement Workshop

STE GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve County Public Library proudly announces an upcoming Community Engagement Workshop, scheduled for June 10th and 11th.

As a cornerstone of the community, the library remains dedicated to enriching lives through inclusive and constructive dialogue.

The two-day event is more than just a gathering; it’s a proactive step toward uniting the voices of our community members, local businesses, educators, and business experts. The workshop’s agenda is crafted to learn how to improve the library. This includes enhancements of library space, resources, unique services, and innovative programming. With community input at the forefront, the community engagement workshop will propel discussions that echo the everyday needs and aspirations of our local library.

“This initiative is an opportunity to strengthen existing partnerships and forge new ones, as community input is essential in steering the library’s strategic direction. We are committed to collaborating closely with all stakeholders to ensure our services not only meet but exceed community expectations.” Stated Shawn Long Library Director. “In our quest to stay effective, embracing new space use is a key theme of this workshop. Participants will get a chance to explore and discuss emerging library trends that could be incorporated into our library, enhancing community experience and accessibility.”
