CHESTER — The American Legion in Chester will host the 2024 Memorial Day Service Monday May 27th.
The event will start at 11 a.m. and feature Commanders Randy Werner (Legion) and Bryan Childs (VFW); Jim Oppedal, First United Methodist Church of Chester; Mayor Tom Page; Steve Colonel and the Chester High School Band; the combined Legion and VFW Firing Squad; TAPS by Josh Casteel; Guest Speaker, Commander Brent Piel, Retired Master Gunnery Sgt., Marine Corps Detachment 575; and a FREE luncheon courtesy of the American Legion.
Everyone is strongly encouraged to attend and honor our fallen veterans!
