CHESTER – Nearly two dozen Chester Grade School students were honored with a “HIVE” Character Awards on Friday April 12.
The students were nominated by CGS teachers and staff for demonstrating the positive character traits of “Respect”, Responsibility”, or “Empathy”.

Each honoree received a certificate and his or her name was announced over the CGS Public Address System.
The CGS Character Education Program is coordinated by School Social Worker Kasey Crook.
