JEFFERSON CITY — A 63-year-old Perryville man suffered minor injuries in a traffic crash on Highway 51 in Perry County Saturday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Kenneth L. Welker was taken to Mercy Perry County by EMS.
The patrol says the crash happened when the eastbound 2021 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Welker struck the rear of a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu driven by a 17-year-old Perryville girl, when the girl pulled out from Perry County Road 210.
The crash happened about 10:55 a.m.
Both drivers were buckled up.
The Malibu had extensive damage and the Silverado had moderate damage, both were towed from the scene by Perry County Towing.
