JEFFERSON CITY — A 28-year-old Pevely woman suffered minor injuries in a traffic crash on I-55 in Perry County Friday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Shannon K. Storey was taken to Mercy Perry Hospital by ambulance.
The patrol reports the crash happened when a southbound 2019 Kia Optima driven by Storey travelled off the right side of the roadway and struck the cable barrier.
The crash happened about 6:30 a.m. at the 133 mile marker.
The patrol says Storey was buckled up.
The Kia was a total loss.
