JEFFERSON CITY – A 36-year-old Perryville man died Sunday night in a traffic crash on Highway 61 in Perry County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Taber J. Bell was taken to the Perry County Morgue after being pronounced at the scene by Perry County Coroner William Bohnert.
The patrol reports Bell was the driver of a southbound 1996 Ford F150 which crossed the center line and collided head on with a northbound 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by 43-year-old Casey L. Doll of St. Mary.
Doll had moderate injuries and was taken to St. Francis Medical Center by Mercy Perry Ambulance.
The crash happened about 6:20 p.m. at Perry County Road 910.
The patrol says neither driver was buckled up.
Both pickups were total losses and were removed by Perry County Towing.
