STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve High School Emeralds Dance Team competed at the Missouri State Dance Team Competition Feb. 24, earning a second place title for their category!
The team entered the Division 2, Precision Dance category and were one of five teams competing.
“This team has worked very hard since June of 2023, and it has shown through their performances at the various competitions,” a school official noted.
The dancers also competed at the Holt Regional Competition on Jan. 6, where they earned a third place trophy and the Farmington Dance Invitational on Jan. 13, where they earned a first place trophy.
“This team should feel very proud of their accomplishments this year!” the school official added.
