STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve Elementary held their first and second quarter POWER Leader Ceremony on Jan. 18, celebrating their 2023-2024 POWER Leaders!

Each quarter, a student from each classroom at Ste. Genevieve Elementary is recognized by the classroom teacher as someone who stands out based on character, behavior, and leadership qualities. The POWER Program is to promote students in making the right choices. See below the characteristics that teachers/staff look for in a POWER Leader:
- Personal: Listening, Greeting, Manners, Personal Space, Asking for Help, Self Control & Awareness, Hygiene, Gratitude
- On Track: Goals (Class, Academic, Behavior, Personal)
- Working Together: Conversations, Interacting, Working with Others, Listening to Others, Conflict Resolution, Forgiveness
- Emotional: Remorse, Impulsivity, Empathy, Zones of Regulation, Coping Skills, Honesty, Acceptance
- Responsibility: Organization (desk, locker/cubby, folder, backpack, charged chromebook, etc.), Follow Directions, Effort
