A funeral will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2024 for 79-year-old Glennon O. Naeger of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
He was born December 30, 1944 in Ste. Genevieve to Oscar and Laverne (Mattingly) Naeger who both preceded him in death.
Glennon and Judy Canter were married May 30, 1969 at Christ the Savior Church in Brewer, MO. She survives him in Perryville.
Survivors also include his brother, Thomas Naeger of Pahrump, NV; three Sisters, Mary Margaret Peterson of Perryville, MO, Rose Kaiser of Wentzville, MO, Rita Seyer of Dexter, MO; three Sister-in-laws, Sally Finch of St. Louis, MO, Linda Slough of Curtis, MI, Lois Naeger of McBride, MO; Brother-in-Law, James Canter of Jackson, MO.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Francis “Sonny” Naeger, John Naeger, and Leonard Naeger.
Glennon served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
He attended Perryville High School and graduated in 1963. Following his military serivce Glennon worked as an aircraft inspector for Sabreliner Corporation.
He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, American Legion Post #133, and the Knights of Columbus.
Glennon enjoyed studying finances and watching the stock market in his free time.
Visitation will be 7:30-9:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno.
A funeral mass for 79-year-old Glennon O. Naeger of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno with Rev. Ben Melaku C.M. officiating.
Burial will be at Christ the Savior Catholic Cemetery in Brewer.
Military honors will be provided by the United States Naval Honors Team and American Legion Post No. 133.
Memorial contributions may be given to Our Lady of Victory Church in Sereno.
