A funeral will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021 for 86-year-old Alfred Lowell Dreyer of Perryville, Mo. who passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born August 28, 1935 in Seventy-Six, Mo., the son of Alfred and Myrl (Barber) Dreyer who both preceded him in death.
He married Irma Detjen December, 10, 1960 at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna.
Survivors include three sons: Harold (Tracy) Dreyer of Spring Hill, Tenn., Richard (Brandi) Dreyer of Jackson, Mo., and Larry (Michelle) Dreyer of Perryville, Mo.; a brother: Kenneth (Edna) Dreyer of Livermore, Calif.; six grandchildren: Dustin, Madison, Drew, Faith, Audrey, and Nathaniel and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a sister: Marilyn (Dreyer) Dobbelare Taber.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville where he served as an elder for many years.
Lowell worked many years as a bus driver for the Immanuel Lutheran School, Perryville High School and SMTS.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2021 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Visitation will continue 9-11 a.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.
A funeral for 86-year-old Alfred Lowell Dreyer of Perryville will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating.
Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville.
