ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri invites customers across the region to celebrate the annual National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend, taking place Feb. 16-18. National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend marks a time when America’s beloved cookies are widely available across the US and reminds customers that each purchase supports their local Girl Scouts, and it is the first weekend of booth sales in eastern Missouri.
When running a cookie booth, Girl Scouts flex their entrepreneurial muscles and acquire important life skills like money management, team building, public speaking and decision making. When a community member purchases their favorite cookies, they are fueling opportunities for Girl Scouts to participate in amazing adventures like overnight camp, innovative programs, and community service projects.
By participating in the Girl Scout Cookie Program, Girl Scouts gain essential life and leadership skills as they build their business acumen, discover the power of marketing, and learn the value of money. As always, 100% of the proceeds stay local, powering life-changing experiences for Girl Scouts in our communities.
