JEFFERSON CITY — The Missouri State Highway Patrol is reporting the arrest of a 28-year-old Springfield, Illinois man following an incident early Tuesday morning in Ste. Genevieve County.
According to the patrol report, Jacob L. Mercer faces patrol charges of two counts of felony child endangerment, felony leaving the scene of a traffic crash with state property damage, and felony resisting arrest by flight. He was released.
The incident happened about 2:22 a.m.
