Living in Ste. Genevieve event planned

STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo. — Visitors to Ste. Genevieve will soon be able to immerse themselves in the history of the community’s architecture and observe how homes from the 1790s through the 1930s were refashioned for today’s living.

 

On Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. 10 private homes will be open for visitors to observe how historic homes can be updated for modern living while keeping the ambience of yesteryear. Living in Ste. Genevieve is warm and inviting!

 

Visitors are asked to stop first at the Guibourd-Valle House at 1 North 4th Street to pick up a map of open house locations. Admission can be paid with cash at this site. Ticket sales will end by 1 p.m.

 

To ensure use a credit card or make sure that tickets are still available, purchase your tickets in advance on-line at www.historicstegen.org.

 

Either way, admission is $20 per adult, $10 per student, and $10 per Foundation Member.
