CHESTER – The Chester Area Christian Food Pantry (CACFP) hosted its monthly Mobile Market Food Giveaway Wednesday January 24 at the Cohen Recreation Parking Lot.

The event takes place each Fourth Wednesday of the month at 8 a.m.
Besides hosting the Mobile Market, the CACFP is open Mondays and Wednesdays each week from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
During the month of December 2023 the pantry served 257 households with 636 individuals.
The pantry accepts donations of either food items, personal care items or cash.
Current items in need include canned meats, canned pastas, peanut butter, canned fruits, and canned tuna fish.
