A funeral will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2024 for 88-year-old Shirley Ann Fadler of Saint Peters, Mo., who passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Barathaven Alzheimer’s Special Care in Dardenne Prairie, Mo.
She was born December 9, 1935 in Belgique, Mo. a daughter of Arnold A. and Odelia “Deets” A. (DePauw) Buerck who both preceded her in death.
She married Donald Fadler April 21, 1956 in Perryville, Mo. He preceded her in death.
She is survivded by a son: Richard J. (loving partner, Melissa Randolph) Fadler; three daughters: Cheryl A. (Rich) Raetzloff, Sue T. (Daniel) Chesnut, and Jean M. (Jim) McKay; a brother: Norbert (Alice) Buerck; eight grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son: Jeff Fadler.
She was a home maker and a member of Saint Joachim and Ann Catholic Church in St. Peters, MO.
Shirley enjoyed the outdoors and being involved with her church.
Visitation will be from 8-9:45 a.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at the Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral for 88-year-old Shirley Ann Fadler of Saint Peters, Mo.will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with the Rev. Ben Melaku officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital .
