Reva M. Lipp

A funeral will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 for 85-year-old Reva M. Lipp of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., who peacefully departed this world on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Ste. Genevieve Care Center.

 

She was born July 1, 1938 in Sainte Genevieve, Mo., a daughter of Emile Geiler and Bernice Geiler, who both preceded her in death.

 

She married Robert Lipp October 5, 1957. He preceded her in death.

 

She is survived by three daughters: Paula (Rick) Meyer of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., Leisa (Jim) Gegg of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., and Ginna (Wayne) Roth of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; a brother: Gary (Lisa) Geiler; grandchildren: Rick (Gretchen) Meyer, Jr., Scott (Angela) Meyer, Ryan (Laura) Meyer, Kristen (Todd) Ulmer, Tiffany (Chris) Holman, Derrick (Stacy) Gegg, Adam Roth, Kyle (Megan Tyminski) Roth; great-grandchildren: Avery, Quincy, Grayson, Kinsley, Emery, Gavin, Ella, Rowan, Marlo, Grace, and one on the way, Lillian, Liam, Laynie, Levi; five brothers-in-law: Lloyd Lipp, Melvin (Shirlee) Lipp Jr., (Patti) Lipp, Jerry (Lorraine) Lipp, and Dick (Jackie) Lipp; and four sisters-in-law: Daisy Beyatte, Gerri Jennings, Joyce Lalumondiere and Carol (Dick Bahr) Lipp.

 

She was also preceded in death by a brother: Gerald Emile Geiler, Sr.; sisters-in-law: Bernadine (Donald) Roth, Ann (Joe) Hoog, Carole Lipp; and brothers-in-law, Jack Beyatte, Floyd Lipp, and Oscar Lalumondiere.

 

She was a member of Ste. Genevieve Nutrition Center, the McDonald’s Coffee Ladies Club and Shady Grove School House.

 

Reva loved to play pitch and go to the boats.

 

She was a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

 

Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the First Baptist Church of Sainte Genevieve, Mo..

 

A funeral for 85-year-old Reva M. Lipp of Sainte Genevieve will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the First Baptist Church of Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. Roger Faulkner will officiate.

 

Burial will be at Valle Spring Cemetery.

 

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Ste. Genevieve or to the Ste. Genevieve Nutrition Center.
