SIKESTON—Route P in Perry county is being reduced to one lane as contractor crews perform shoulder work.
Weather permitting, the work began Thursday morning and will continue through Wednesday, Jan 31 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
This section of roadway is located from Route U to Route 61 near Perryville, Missouri.
The work zone Is marked with signs.
Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
