PERRYVILLE – The St. Vincent High School Cheer Squad came in third in the State Cheer Competition Saturday.
Boys’ Basketball
PERRYVILLE — St. Vincent lost to Oak Ridge 72-53 Friday.
Max Wheeler had 21 points to lead the Indians. Parker Ellis had nine. Odin Pearl had eight. Peyton Strattmann and Jacob Schremp each had five. Case Huber had three. Wyatt Winkler had two.
The Indians fall to 1-3 on the season. They will play at Chaffee Tuesday.
The junior varsity Indians won 64-38.
Case Huber had 14 points to lead the JV Indians. Quentin Doza had 11. Wyatt Winkler and another player had 10. Andrew Schumer had eight. Colten Prost had six. Gavin Hotop had five.
The junior varsity improves to 3-1 on the season and will join the varsity at Chaffee on Tuesday.
The Indians play at Chaffee tomorrow at 7:30.
STE. GENEVIEVE — Ste. Genevieve defeated Valle 76-47 Friday.
The Dragons play at Jefferson Friday.
Valle plays at Crystal City at 5:30 Tuesday.
CHESTER – Chester varsity defeated Okawville 34-32 and the junior varsity won 38-30 Friday.
The Yellow Jackets were scheduled to play visiting Christ Our Rock Saturday. The score was not reported.
Chester plays at Nashville atTuesday at 7:30 p.m.
PERRYVILLE – Perryville lost at Fredericktown 46-29 Friday.
The Pirates host Hillsboro at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

STE. GENEVIEVE — Ste. Genevieve boys came in first out of 16 teams at the Union Tournament Saturday.

Drake Meyer was outstanding wrestler.
The girls came in ninth out of 26 in the Union Tournament Friday.
