Candidates begin filing for April 2 election in Perry County

PERRYVILLE — Filing began yesterday for the April municipal and school elections in Perry County.

 

Board of Aldermen candidates filing in Perryville were: Clinton Rice in Ward 3 and Curt Buerck in Ward 2 — both are incumbents.

 

A newcomer, Deanna Kline filed for the Ward 1 seat now held by Tom Guth.

 

Also filing Tuesday was the incumbent Mayor Larry Riney.

 

Filing for the city offices is taking place at city hall during normal business hours, except for holidays.

 

Filing for the school board election were incumbents Mark Gremaud and Kevin Bachman.

 

Filing for the school board election is taking place at the District 32 office during normal business hours, except for holiday.

 

Filing ends December 26 at both locations.
