Girls’ Volleyball
JACKSON – Second seed Saxony Lutheran defeated Valle Catholic three sets to one: 21-25, 25-15, 25-16 and 25-21, in a Class 3 Sectional at Jackson.
The Crusaders will play Ursuline Academy Saturday in the Class 3 State Tournament.
Valle ends its season with a 26-8-2 record.

JACKSON – Saxony Lutheran runs in the Class 2 District 1 meet at Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau Saturday.
STE. GENVIEVE – The Valle boys run in the Class 1 District 1 Cross Country meet at Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau Saturday.
The girls run in the Class 2 District 1 Cross Country meet at Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau also on Saturday.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve boys and girls run in the Class 3 District 1 Cross Country meet at Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau Saturday.
PERRYVILLE – Perryville boys and girls run in the Class 4 District 1 cross country meet at Arnold City Park in Arnold Saturday.
PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent girls run in the Class 1 District 1 Cross Country meet and the boys run in the Class 2 District 1 cross country meet. Both meets are at Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau Saturday.
