A memorial service will be held at a later date for 72-year-old Rosilea R. Leverett of Chester, Illinois, who passed away at 2:05 pm, Friday, December 3, 2021 at Memorial Hospital, Chester, Illinois.
Rosilea was born April 2, 1949, the daughter of Ardell and Edna (nee Mitchell) Hamilton, who both preceded her in death.
She married Richard Leverett; he preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters: Deanna (Scott) Eguires of Wildwood, Mo., Shelly (Clint) Thrasher of Harrisburg, Ill. and Sheri (Travis) Baughman of St. Mary, Mo.; eight siblings: Martha Handly of Dixon, Ill., Adele Baggett of Harrisburg, Ill., Frank Hamilton of Elk City, Okla., Paul Hamilton of Imperial, Mo., Patty Reed Herrin, Ill., Ron Hamilton of Rantoul, Ill., Jim Hamilton of Kenai, Alaska and Lyndell Hamilton of Kenai, Alaska; 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son: Bryan Fogle, two sisters: Dorothy Lukancic and Judy May and a granddaughter: Kara Knop
Rosilea had worked in home healthcare for 25 years.
She enjoyed singing, crafting, baking and family gatherings.
It was Rosilea’s wish to be cremated.
