Reception for transition in Riverside Regional Library Directors

JACKSON, Mo. — The board and staff of Riverside Regional Library invite the public to a reception as we bid farewell to our Library Director and welcome his successor.

“We will honor Jeff Trinkle on his retirement as Riverside Regional Library Director, which is effective November 15. The reception will also be an opportunity to meet and welcome Frankie Lea Hannan, who starts as Library Director on October 23. The overlap in directorship will ensure a smooth transition of leadership for Riverside Regional Library.”

The reception will be on Saturday, October 28 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Gospel Life Church, 1985 East Jackson Boulevard, Jackson, MO (next to the Main Library Branch).

Jeff Trinkle has been the Riverside Library Director for over 10 years and has worked in public libraries for over 40. He began his Library career as an audiovisual department clerk at the Monroe County Public Library in Bloomington, Indiana, in 1982. In retirement he is looking forward to visiting family and traveling and exploring new opportunities.

Jeff Trinkle states “What I have liked most during my tenure was the privilege to have worked with all the wonderful people at the Riverside Regional Library.”

Frankie Lea Hannan comes to Riverside with over 17 years of library experience, having served as an Adult Services – Reference Librarian, Branch Manager and Library Director.
