George Dwight White, 70, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at his residence.
He was born January 28, 1953 in Sikeston, Mo. to Charles Floral and Opal Louise (Summerlott) White.
He and Carol (Coffman) Moran were married August 8, 2009 at Thousand Oaks Winery, Patton, Mo.
He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War
George retired from AT&T after 35 years. He also worked five years at Rhodes 101 Stop and nine years at Perry County School District No. 32 as a bus driver.
He was a member of Bertrand First Baptist Church, GWRRA and NRA.
George enjoyed motorcycles, boating, competitive pistol shooting, traveling and most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was always light hearted, had many friends and enjoyed making them laugh.
George never met a stranger.
Survivors include a son: Ryan (Sheena) Andrew White; two step-sons: Brian (Sarah) Moran, Jared Moran; son-in-law: Jake Wilson; three brothers: Don R. (Barbara) White, Gary L. (Karen) White, Charles M. (Barb) White; four grandchildren: Taylor G. Wilson, Rian A.White, Sydney M. Moran, Blake T. Moran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter: Kristen Ashleigh Wilson.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2023 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2023 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville with Bro. David Thompson officiating.
Military honors will be provided by the United States Air Force Honors Team.
