STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve VFW Post No. 2210 Commander Brian Herzog, and VFW Auxiliary Youth Activities Chairperson Lois Flieg were at Valle Catholic Schools recently to make presentations to two students.
Freshman Andrew Basler was recognized for placing third in the Voice of Democracy contest.
Andrew is the son of Chris and Tina Basler.
Eighth Grader Lane Okenfuss was recognized for being one of three county students to have their essays forwarded for district consideration in the Patriot’s Pen essay contest.
Lane is the son of Todd and Janie Okenfuss.
