Camryn Luthy earns All-Conference honors

CHESTER – The Chester High School Lady Jackets Golf Team competed at the 2023 Cahokia Conference Tournament at the RBM Golf Course in Okawville Thursday September 21. The Ladies finished 4th out of seven teams in the Illinois Division.
The Top-10 finishers earned All-Conference honors. Chester’s only senior, Camryn Luthy, finished 4th overall to become a 2023 Cahokia Conference “All-Conference” honoree.
Chester High School senior, Camryn Luthy, earned All-Conference honors at the 2023 Cahokia Conference Golf Tournament Thursday September 21 at the RBM Golf Course in Carlyle. The conference match was an 18-hole event that featured a total of 43 golfers and seven teams in the Illinois Division. All Cahokia Conference teams participated in the tournament, but each division was scored separately so that the Illinois, Kaskaskia, and Mississippi Divisions each had their own All-Conference Teams and finishing rankings.

The Illinois Division finished in the following order:
Carlyle (1st, 361) Champions
Red Bud (2nd, 363)
Okawville (3rd, 364)
CHESTER (4th, 405)
Marissa (5th, 418)
Sparta (6th, 460)
Dupo (7th, 484).
The Lady Jackets finished 4th, exactly in the middle of the seven-team tournament field. Senior Camryn Luthy led the Jackets with her score of 81 for the 18-hole tournament. For her efforts she earned “All-Conference” honors. Individual scores for the six-girl squad are as follow:
