A funeral will be held Monday, October 2, 2023 for 95-year-old Margaret “Peggy” Jeanne Mullarkey of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023 at her home in Saint Louis, Mo.
She was born April 23, 1928 in St. Louis, Mo. the daughter of Margaret (Kicker) Meyrose and Eugene Meyrose, who both preceded her in death.
She married John “Vince” Mullarkey on August 18, 1952. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by four sons: Timothy (Ellen) Mullarkey, Terry (Janet) Mullarkey, John (Dean) Mullarkey Jr., and Gene (Lisa) Mullarkey; a daughter: Margaret (Richard) Burtnett; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by a son: Ted Mullarkey.
Peggy was a member of Hill and Dale Garden Club, Heavenly Dusters, Book Club and Bridge Club.
A funeral for 95-year-old Margaret “Peggy” Jeanne Mullarkey of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 2, 2023 at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Cemetery in Weingarten, Mo.
