A graveside service will be held Thursday, September 21, 2023 for 69-year-old Charles “Charlie” Cruise Higginbotham of Bloomsdale, Mo. who passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023 at his home.
He was born July 3, 1954 in St. Louis, Mo., the son of Wendell Higginbotham and Doris (Livingston) Higginbotham who both preceded him in death.
He married Cynthia M. (Bauman) Higginbotham. She preceded him in death.
He is survived by a daughter: Madeline (husband Kyle) Fallert of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Bloomsdale; three sisters: Mary “Tina” Winebaugh, Joyce Meier, and Gail Simpson; and many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Wendell “Lee” Higginbotham and Richard “Rick” Higginbotham.
Charlie was a member of Knights of Columbus in Bloomsdale.
He enjoyed driving and traveling for Husky Trailways.
Later, he was also a proud driver for Fallert Bus Service.
Charlie was an avid fisherman and loved cooking and baking for all.
There will be a graveside service for 69-year-old Charles “Charlie” Cruise Higginbotham of Bloomsdale at St. Lawrence Cemetery Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 3 p.m. with Deacon Jim Basler officiating.
A Celebration of Life will follow the graveside service around 4 p.m. Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the KC Hall in Bloomsdale.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to family use for funeral expenses.
