A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023 for 30-year-old Stephen Dwayne Gilmer of Saint Louis, Mo. who passsed away Sunday, August 6, 2023.
He was born September 30, 1992 in Granite City, Ill., the son of Dennis (Lisa) Gilmer who survives in Fredericktown, Mo. and Terra Lynn Smallmon who survives in Saint Louis, Mo.
He is survived by his girlfriend: Abigail Johnson; a son: Trexten Gilmer; a daughter: Margeaux Gilmer; stepsons: Koden and Braylen Zorumski; three sisters: Ashley Smallmon, Shelby Smallmon, and Jamieson Kemper; a step-sister: Skylar Green; a step-brother: Josh Hawn; aeveral aunts; uncles; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Samantha Gilmer; grandparents: Wilbert (Margie) Gilmer; grandfather: Ronald Smallmon; and grandmother: Diana Foster.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve.

Stephen “Steve-O” loved playing baseball, football, and watching sports.
He loved his kids with all his heart.
Stephen enjoyed working with his hands and doing electrical work.
