City business moves to Plaza Ste. Genevieve while city hall is remodeled

STE. GENEVIEVE — The city of Ste Genevieve announced Tuesday on social media that it is moving city hall to a new location, but only for about six months until the remodeling of its usual home is finished.

“Ste Genevieve City Hall is getting a facelift!” the Facebook post declared.

“That means we must move our offices and board room to a temporary location STARTING AUGUST 15, 2023.

“We will be relocating to #44 Plaza Drive, right next to Domino’s Pizza. While at this location, we can continue to take your water bills, issue licenses, and answer your questions in the same manner as we always have.

“We can still be reached at 573-883-5400, Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.

“We will be there for about 6 months while the remodeling takes place. The utility bill overnight drop box will remain available to use until the new one needs to be installed.

“We are sorry for the inconvenience, but our improved spaces will keep us in the heart of the city for a long time.
