SEDALIA —Join us at the Missouri State Fair on Friday, Aug. 11, for Missouri Department of Conservation Day. Fairgoers can visit the Conservation Building for live animal exhibits all day and the invasive carp fish fry demonstration at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Show-Me Showcase, sponsored by 16/65 Digital, at 2 p.m., Clay Clear Band at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. and Soul Root at 9 p.m. on the Budweiser Stage.
Free entertainment including Mr. Stinky Feet and the Chicago Honey Bear Dancers on the Kid’s Stage, sponsored by Your Local McDonald’s. Cirque Zuma Zuma and Motown & More on the Touchstone Energy Stage. Other shows include ShenaniGuns Comedy Wild West Show, sponsored by AOK RVs, and the WOW Water Circus.
Biggest and Best Bell Bottom Contest will be held at 6 p.m. on the Touchstone Energy Stage. Throw on your favorite pair of bell bottoms and channel your inner Lainey Wilson for this fun contest.
Livestock shows include beef cattle, draft mules, lamb, and swine shows.

The Exceptional Rodeo will kick off at 10 a.m. in the Mathewson Exhibition Center.
Military Flag Retreat Ceremony, sponsored by Capital Materials, Starline Brass and Retrieving Freedom, will take place at 5:30 p.m. in front of the Historic Administration Building.
Cowboy Mounted Shooting, sponsored by Starline Brass, qualifying rounds continuing from Aug 10. start at 2:30 p.m. with the Starline Showcase Shootout beginning at 6 p.m. in the Mathewson Exhibition Center.
MRCA Show-Me State Rodeo starts at 7 p.m. in the State Fair Arena; tickets are available for purchase.
The sold out concert featuring Lainey Wilson with Jackson Dean will start at 7:30 p.m. in the State Fair Grandstand, presented by CFM Insurance.
